Draken Tokyo Revengers – Review
When you watch Draken Tokyo Revengers on Netflix, you’ll likely see references to characters like Ken Ryuguji, Emma Sano, and the Toman gang. You may even see a few scenes in which Draken reverts to his old self. However, I highly recommend the show if you’ve never watched it. I’ll break down key plot points for you to understand in this article.
Draken
Draken is the vice-president of the Tokyo Manji gang. The figure is made of plastic and comes with three face plates, a motorcycle, and a plate of hot curry. He stands around 100mm tall and weighs roughly 30 grams. He has a very masculine build and is highly well-groomed. He has a big and strong body and is often rude to others. He is also a fan of anime and games.
His strength is impressive, making him the second strongest character in the manga. In one fight, Draken defeated a group of 20 opponents by himself, beating up half of them. His strength is so impressive that he is also one of the tallest people in the manga. He fights with powerful kicks and punches and has knocked back opponents taller than him. However, he does not show much emotion when he fights.
While Takimichi and Senju were able to escape, Draken was left behind. The gunshot caused a considerable commotion and attracted the attention of many people. Despite being a caring character, Draken had been hurt by the attack on Takemichi. Although Takimichi and Senju were able to survive, Draken died of a gunshot wound that required too much blood to repair.
As the vice president of the Tokyo Manji gang, Draken is an impulsive and brash individual. He is rude to people below him but relishes the opportunity to meet worthy opponents. His brother Mikey is the gang president, but Draken Tokyo Revengers is mature enough to recognize when respect is due and when responsibility must be taken. He rides a Kawasaki Zephyr 400 superbike.
Ken Ryuguji
The second installment of Ken Ryuguji, Draken, and Brahman is set in the Tokyo subway system. The series revolves around a group of street fighters, each of which is led by a different gang member. Ken Ryuguji is a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang and is also the Vice-Leader. Ken is a muscular teenager with his signature dragon tattoo on his left temple. His hair is tied back in a neat braid, and his eyebrows are high. Draken, however, leaves a few strands of hair loose on his front.
Draken is very lean and has chiseled abdominal muscles. He was stabbed in the chest during the third episode and later expresses regret when his brother Mikey breaks up the Toman gang. Although he’s still alive, Draken is rude to the people he thinks are beneath him. He also wears a standard Toman Toppoku.
During the second episode of Ken Ryuguji, Draken Tokyo Revengers and Takemichi meet again. Takemichi was his childhood friend, and Draken was her mentor. Draken greatly influenced Takemichi and helped him become the best boxer he could be. When he apologizes to the father of one of his victims, he also helps him gain acceptance from his peers.
Draken and Mikey are close friends. They have known each other since childhood and are loyal to their gang. When the two are in danger, they both run to each other. The gang also has a flag that symbolizes their organization, and Mikey is very loyal to Ken. Despite their different backgrounds, they remain friends in the show. There are many more features that make this show such a great watch.
Toman Gang
The Toman gang consists of several gang members, including the infamous Mikey. He is the vice president of the gang and is often looked up to as the source of authority. Though rude at times, he values his friendships and does not want innocents to get involved in violent activities. However, he is an aggressive fighter, Draken values loyalty to friends and family.
In the series’ third episode, Takemichi is back to rescue his friend Takemichi. In the first episode, he is almost killed, but he survives. The second incident involves the death of Toman’s founding member Kisaki Tetta. The third incident involves Draken Tokyo Revengers and his former partner. Finally, in the fourth episode, the two men work together to find the culprit of the first two incidents and make a better future for themselves.
The Toman Arc becomes complicated when Takemichi returns to the future and learns that Draken is alive in prison and that he was responsible for killing Mikey. The series’ final arc sees the Toman defeat the Black Dragons. Despite losing to the Black Dragons, Toman manages to become the strongest of the Toman. The series is based on the manga series Dragonball Z.
The Toman gang is different from the Toman in the original timeline. In the original timeline, the Toman gang was led by morally bankrupt Mikey, but they’ve become a full-fledged Yakuza in the sequel. They are involved in murder and extortion. The Toman gang is also connected with the S-62 Generation, led by Kurokawa Izana. Izana’s death aborted Toman’s worst future.
Emma Sano
In the anime adaptation of the manga, Emma is the half-sister of Shinichiro and Mikey. Although they had the same first name, their personalities were different. Although Emma was childish around Draken Tokyo Revengers, she flirted with him and made him jealous. But when her intentions weren’t successful, she got disappointed. Luckily, she had a very sweet heart, and it was a great break. However, everyone expected her and Draken to be together in the end.
Draken and Emma’s relationship develops over time. Draken and Emma are initially smitten with each other and develop feelings for each other. After a while, the two fall in love and start a love affair. However, their relationship becomes strained and complicated, so they must deal with it in their way. It also means that Draken has to deal with some emotional pain.
The manga and anime adaptations of Tokyo Revengers have a large fan base. Although the manga is ongoing, the anime was released on 11th April 2021. The manga is still being translated into English. Emma Sano, who has a sweet and innocent personality, is one of the main characters in the manga. She has a great body and a beautiful face and is a good friend to her brother.
The ending of Tokyo Revengers’ Emma Sano was a bit dreary. She and Draken almost lost everything, and the final blow to Mikey’s life was Emma’s death. Draken did not get to confess to Draken how much he loved Emma, and this may have left a scar on readers’ hearts. Even after their love story had ended, she had been a great friend to Mikey.
Takemichi Hanagaki
The anime series Tokyo Revengers has just debuted. The anime follows the life of 26-year-old Takemichi Hanagaki. He lives in a modest apartment and works a part-time job. Then, in a freak accident, he travels to the past and discovers that the notorious Tokyo Manji gang murdered his ex-girlfriend. The story unfolds from there.
In the manga Tokyo Revengers, Takemichi Hanagaki travels to the past to save Hinata Tachibana. While in the past, he met and worked with the legendary Naoto Tachibana. The story follows the lives of these two as they try to save their loved ones. The manga is filled with action-packed scenes that will make you want to watch the rest of the series.
Naoto is an alcoholic, and Takemichi is a young convenience store employee who dreams of being a hero delinquent. After experiencing danger, he leaves his middle school friends behind. However, he ends up traveling back in time to save them. To do so, he must learn to forgive himself for his mistakes.
Although Takemichi is the protagonist of Tokyo Revergers, he is also a character with multiple personalities. In the manga, Takemichi tries to stop Kazutora from killing him. His younger self tries to prevent him but fails as he wraps his arms around Baji’s waist and gives Kazutora an opening to stab him.
On the other hand, Takemichi has developed a special bond with Draken and Mikey, who are also friends. He tries to carve the best life for Draken while keeping Toman from his darkest instincts. He tries to protect his friend from the evil of his life, but he fails and wastes his time. He only acts after his friend, Mikey calls for help and takes him to a hospital.
