5 Thriller Seasons to Watch
There is one genre we know a lot about: thriller season. What’s better than a movie that makes you feel like you’re on the edge of your seat while also having action and romance? It is even better as long as it can be watched in one sitting on Netflix.

1.”American Crime Story” (2016–)
When O.J. Simpson went on trial for murder, it was a story that gripped the country and changed it forever. There was also a second season about designer Gianni Versace’s death. Watch, pause, and rewind to see how the killer cast looks like their real-life counterparts, and get ready for Cuba Gooding Jr.’s return. The Versace edition is just as good as the Impeachment edition, but you’ll have to wait a while for the new Netflix version to come out for a bit longer.
2. Behind her eyes (2021)
If you’ve heard anything about Behind Her Eyes, the Netflix miniseries based on Sarah Pinborough’s book, you’ve probably heard about the crazy ending to the show. As it turns out, the show has about a thousand twists. Even though the show itself isn’t good, the payoff is fun. When single mother Louise (Simona Brown) starts a new job at a psychiatrist’s office, she finds out that her new boss had sex with her the night before. There is one dirty twist that starts the whole thing off. They end up having sex, and she gets to know his needy wife (Eve Hewson). If it looks like the setting for a sexy but mostly straight-forward drama, you’d be forgiven because that’s precisely what it looks like. But you’d also be wrong. If you want to know what it’s all about, don’t you want to see it yourself?
3. Bodyguard (2018)
People might think that the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of the police in London do many dangerous things. A TV show called Bodyguard follows officer David Budd, played by Game of Thrones star Richard Madden. Budd is in charge of protecting the Home Secretary of the United Kingdom (Keeley Hawes). Even though Buddhas protect the politician in the Netflix version, he still has PTSD from his time in Afghanistan and feels conflicted about working for a big supporter of the war. Bodyguard is a political thriller at its best. It shows how Budd’s job as a bodyguard comes with many risks, from his personal views to possible attacks and a growing attraction to a woman he doesn’t like. Reported from Hurricane Valley Times
4. “Money Heist” (2017–) – Best Thriller Seasons
This Spanish show isn’t just one of the most popular non-English shows on Netflix. It has become a global phenomenon with so much hype that Netflix made a documentary about it. The show is about a group of robbers who plan an elaborate heist. It has inspired fans to dress up in the cast’s uniforms to do pranks and even try to copy their plans in real life. Many shows don’t have that kind of power. This is one of the best heist movies that are still running. It shows a plan to take hostages at the Royal Mint of Spain so that they can print and steal money. Every heist moment is thrilling, and the characters behind their masks, each with their problems, make the show as bright as heart-pounding. “You might not want to rob a bank, but you might want to take over”, Reported from Chronicles News.
5. Mindhunter
David Fincher is a big fan of serial killers. It was a big deal for Netflix when the director of Seven, Zodiac, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo used his dark, brooding style to make House of Cards a show about a politician who is a sociopath. A young FBI agent named Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and his mentor Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) work together to set up a new division of the Bureau called “Mindhunter,” which is charged with solving a “new kind of crime” that doesn’t make sense to most law enforcement officers. Dr. Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), a psychologist who worked for the FBI before becoming a consultant, is one of the people who work with the new division. While the best parts of the show are more meditative and reflective, there’s still enough crime-chasing to get your heart rate up.
