Coronation Street videos confirm unexpected stalker as legend is feared dead | Soaps

With emotions running high, Coronation Street serves up yet another dramatic week on the eponymous cobbles, as confirmed in my brand new batch of spoiler videos.
The ITV soap has quite rightly been the talk of the nation this past week, following news that Gail Platt legend Helen Worth will step down from the signature role after thrilling audiences for five decades.
I know, I’m not quite over it either!
But while the real world struggles to come to terms with the news, the residents of the Street have been busy with their own dramas, with Toyah Battersby having a lot to process after she was arrested for murder.
The unfair arrest comes at the hands of Rowan, the sinister cult leader who has manipulated Leanne, and next week will see her prepare for her day in court, but let’s just say things don’t go according to plan.
Ken Barlow, meanwhile, is left in serious danger after suffering a fall, with Bobby Crawford determined to help as he calls for an ambulance.

Monday June 10
Bobby calls at the Barlow’s household in search of Ken. When he receives no response he peers through the letterbox to see Ken on the floor in front of the stairs.
Horrified, Bobby decides to call an ambulance. Will Ken be okay?
I can confirm that Ken is taken to hospital, where he’s told by doctors that he’ll need round the clock care while he recovers.
Steve offers his support, as does Daniel, but Ken isn’t too pleased about the prospect of being under watch, fearing he will lose his independence.
Wednesday June 12
Toyah prepares for her day in court.
Nick is quick to offer her support as they walk down the street, discussing what happened the previous night between them, adamant that it simply cannot happen again.
The two have shared a kiss.
Toyah, however, is soon distracted as she sees someone in a car nearby, evidently watching her. The car drives away shortly afterwards, leaving Toyah convinced that she’s just being paranoid.
But with Rowan having sinister intentions, the question is: is the cult leader behind Toyah’s mysterious watcher? And will she make it to court on time?
The answer to the latter question is no, with Toyah subsequently receiving a call to inform her that Leanne was involved in a devastating accident and thus has been rushed to hospital.
Coronation Street airs these scenes w/c Monday June 10 on ITV1 and ITVX.
